Job Overview:
The Interior Designer at Hive Collective oversees all aspects of ongoing interior design projects, from conception to completion. What Your Background / Experience Should Look Like:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Manage all phases of the client experience, from consultations through delivery and site visits, alongside the Senior Designer.
- Oversee all aspects of ongoing interior design projects, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.
- Monitor project progress and make decisions to keep the project aligned with business initiatives.
Client Interaction
- Lead client meetings and presentations for interior design projects.
- Conduct initial in-home consultations as a representative of Hive Design.
- Measure clients’ homes and create floor plans in AutoCAD if files are not provided.
- Produce CAD drawings for projects using departmental and industry standards.
Design Execution
- Provide design expertise, execute design projects, and support the Senior Interior Designer with large-scale projects in collaboration with the team.
- Create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces by assessing space requirements, determining optimal furniture placement, and selecting appropriate items for clients.
- Produce on-brand design presentations and communicate design concepts, space planning, and product selections to clients.
Team Collaboration and Leadership
- Work closely with the Senior Interior Designer to review project specifications and ensure that client and business partner needs are met.
- Ensure Hive Collective’s values and vision are clearly defined, communicated, and embodied within the design team.
- Represent the Hive lifestyle brand through communication, personal appearance, and professionalism.
Operations and Administration
- Maintain the Master Design Client Spreadsheet with current information as projects progress.
- Create and maintain a current resource library for fabrics, finishes, wall coverings, etc., in the Design Studio.
- Maintain a standard of productivity to ensure fiscal goals are met.
- Remain fluid and flexible to support the evolving needs of the business.

We’re looking for individuals who can commit to 2-3 days a week, including availability on 2-3 Saturdays per month. Our store hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Skillfully wrap gifts and assist customers with their purchases.
- Support the processing and organization of merchandise shipments.
- Assemble and prepare toys and products for display and customer purchase.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our diverse product range and services.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock items as needed, and assist with inventory management.
- Adapt to various tasks and support different areas of the store as required.
Qualifications:
